CANBERRA, 30 November 2018: 4Tel attended the AusRAIL Conference and Exhibition between 27-28 November 2018 at the National Convention Centre Canberra. Over the 2-day event, the 4Tel stand was overwhelmed with a positive response of interest with HORUS and ETW2. These projects are 4Tel’s leading innovations for 2018.
HORUS is 4Tel’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Machine Learning system which uses complex algorithms for object detection in the rail environment. This system aims to assist the train driver with a never-tired, never-distracted, advanced driver advisory system.
The ETW2 app, for managing Electronic Authorities to support track maintenance activities, generated a lot of interest with many demonstrations conducted over the two days. ETW2 has integrated Look-Out-Work and Working-In-Corridor methods of Safe Working, following the successful commissioning of ETW in September 2017. ETW Track Occupancies Authorities now represents 80% of work on track occupations on the Transport for New South Wales Country Regional Network. Over 15,000 Track Occupancies Authorities have been issued since commissioning.
4Tel received an outstanding response towards their projects with a constant flow of visitors to the stand. 4Tel is truly delivering systems to support “Rail - for a better and safer future” - which was the theme for AusRAIL, one of the largest rail events in Australasia.
