4Trak has been applied in tracking ambulance vehicles on a state-wide basis in South Australia. In this case study, a primary server and back-up server were configured to provide a very high availability tracking for the ambulance services.
4Trak was configured to provide customised alarms for the remote monitoring of siren activation, warning light status and other selected telemetry. The displayed screens allow remote real-time viewing of an ambulance’s status by automating various reporting without the need for staff interaction during an emergency situation. This improves accuracy of reporting and staff efficiency in demanding situations.
The 4Trak server also creates automatic email and SMS text message reports to any nominated account as per an alarm or report handling schedule.
